Sinopsis
The main purpose of this section is to collect those precious gems of Set Theory - Relations, Functions and Inverse Functions - which will frequently be used throughout the text. The few extra comments are designed, either to bring out a convenient viewpoint, or to point out some pitfalls. We prove none of the set-theoretical formulas that we mention, inasmuch that, whoever is ready for what lies ahead, can prove these quite easily.
